Awareness and prediction are a Rider’s responsibility when entering a dangerous area. Intersections are an area of traffic conflict and deserve your full attention.
Physically look in every direction to maintain the appropriate safety margin – and slow to allow enough time to respond to all factors. Always keep an escape path available using the Search Evaluate Execute (SEE) strategy.
Never underestimate other road users and never overestimate your skill to escape problems in an intersection.
