Perceiving Factors, Traps, and Escapes early can provide the ability to respond to dangerous situations – before we have to react in crash prevention.
Using a strategy like SEE (Search, Evaluate, Execute) to perceive hazards in advance helps prevent Factors from becoming Traps we cannot react to.
