Escape paths are the last available space when all the Factors add up. When riding forward it is most likely you have three options – Forward Left,Straight Ahead, or Forward Right. Motorcycles are generally smaller and more narrow than other vehicles, depending on the situation the choices are different than a car or truck.
Identifying Factors, Traps, and Escapes early can provide the potential of time and space safety margins to prevent crashes.
Using a strategy like SEE (Search, Evaluate, Execute) to identify hazards in advance helps prevent Factors from becoming Traps we cannot Escape from.
