The Program Administrator’s Workgroup will meet again on Thursday 29 October 2020. Representatives from state and military programs who attend will discuss current topics faced in Rider Education. Topics this month will include future Professional Development Activities as many of this year’s programs close for the year.
A theme that is developing is the need to be more vocal and collaborate efforts to support the future of rider education. How we use the data. we have and to support future research can increase the knowledge that education is better than compliance enforcement as a countermeasure to high crash rates.
Another discussion centered on the need to work more with State Motorcycle Rider Organizations (SRMOs) to develop stronger messages about education programs for riders and future riders.
