Shelley R. Ott, EDS, BSE, SEP

Dr. Donald L. Green has over 35 years of experience in leadership, development, training, education, experiential learning, quality assurance, and organizational change management. His knowledge results from 21 years of military service, over 40 years of motorcycling experience, and over a decade of motorcyclist rider education efforts, most recently centered on research about RiderCoach/ Instructor development.

As the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Rider Choices Consulting, Don’s passion for motorcyclist education has led him to be engaged in multiple organizations providing input and guidance. He was elected as the Individual Member Representative and Assistant Chairperson to the Executive Committee, Chairperson of the Communications and Membership Committee of the State Motorcycle Safety Association (SMSA.org), and is a member of the three supporting committees. Dr. Green is also a board member of The Skilled Motorcyclist Association of Responsible Trained and Educated Riders (SMARTER.ORG), participated in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Community of Practice, and actively creates development material for RiderCoaches/Instructors.

Additionally, Don is a certified Motorcycle Safety Foundation RiderCoach Trainer, Quality Assurance Specialist, a multi-year presenter at the Institut Fur Zweiradsicherheit (Institute for two-wheel safety) German International Motorcycle Conference, the MSF's International Riders Education Training Systems Workshop, The Lifesaver’s Conference, and is published in the Journal of Safety Research.
