Do you trust yourself enough NOT to look where you want to ride? Moving into another position can be dangerous without a full scan around the motorcycle. Use your mirrors and look over your shoulder for any maneuver out of place.
When other road users are near, physically look to maintain the appropriate safety margin. Always keep an escape path available using the Search Evaluate Execute (SEE) strategy.
