The next Program Administrator Work Group will meet on April 15th, 2021 at 12:00pm Eastern to discuss New Instructor Training – “What we do after recruiting until the instructor is considered adequate to work without oversight.”
March’s workgroup had attendees from Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Vermont, and Wisconsin participating in a discussion on Recruiting and Retention of Instructors, an issue impacting every program in the United States.
Some of the discussions will include:
- What happens between recruitment and the prep course (Auditing)
- Pre-Course assignments
- Emphasis in the Prep Course
- Prep completion considerations
- Requirements post Prep
- Mentorship and Shadowing
RiderChoices will host meeting of program administrators monthly and would like your input for topics of future meetings. If you or a surrogate could participate it would be helpful in creating more collaborative Ideas to move our collective organizations forward.
